Hey, Emperor.
I feel like you are battling something right now.
Something is shifting around you, and you may be trying to figure out how to keep everything together while also knowing you cannot keep living exactly how you have been living.
You care about the people involved.
You have invested in the structure.
There may be money, history, work, a relationship, or a whole community tied to it.
So when something starts falling, your first response may be to hold it up.
But listen.
Before you pour more of yourself into keeping it standing, ask what it is showing you.
Is this working for you?
And I mean all of you.
Because the opening of this reading is about two versions of yourself that you have been treating like they cannot exist in the same life.
What you begin to realize is that both of them are you.
The Board — What is actually falling?
Early in the reading, I talk about towers.
Sometimes we stay uncomfortable for so long that the situation eventually forces a change. We keep trying to make it work. We tell ourselves we are not prepared to move. We give it a little more time.
Then a tower happens, and suddenly we have to look at what we kept avoiding.
In my spiritual understanding, that can become a moment of revelation.
You start asking God to show you what you have not been seeing.
What have I been sustaining?
What have I been settling for?
What am I afraid will happen if this changes?
Emperor, those questions take courage, especially when you have worked hard to build the life you are standing in.
But the amount of effort something took does not tell you whether it still belongs in your future.
You can acknowledge what it gave you. You can acknowledge what you learned. Then you can look honestly at what it is costing you now.
Let the tower show you the structure. Do not let it become the measure of your worth.
